 By the end of the week, I will have been here for one month. The time, it be flying. I hope that everyone had a great Aug., and that September will be even better. For anyone that likes Big and Rich(or even if you don’t, or just don’t know who they are it still applies), I try to look at it this way. Now it doesn’t always work, because I have a tendency sometimes to get caught up in one thing or another, or think that one day was just great, or absolutely horrible, or whatever, but it goes something like this ”Today, is even better than yesterday…”

I regret that I did miss church on Sun. And I did make an effort later that afternoon to find a service downtown, but to no avail. Maybe the art fair going on sidetracked me, but I did get some reading done later when I came home, which was a great supplement. Any weekend day can easily be spent, as I did, walking around the Sat. market, which has all sorts of food, arts/crafts/paintings/etc. Walking by the waterfront, stopping in to store somewhere near the market, listening to live music.

Work will start this week, I’ll be in the suburbs of Portland. I won’t write much about work on this site, so maybe I’ll email about that. It’s in the same field that I was in before I moved out here, so not much of a change. I’m happy to be where I’m at, and really hoping that all goes well. It’s been a tough transition, not knowing anyone, but there have been some great people helping out in that process. For some reason, I’m still sick, but hoping that begins to fade as I get more sleep each night and change to a more set routine. I am hoping to have my car by Tues or Wed, a hyundai tiburon. If you know me, you know that I love the hyundai and the sweet warranty. Much like my previous car, I did not test drive it. I’m going on pure hyundai trust. This one cost a bit more than my 10,000 hyundai from yesteryear. Man, that baby put in some miles, from lawrence to kc, from lawrence to phoenix and then vegas, from lawrence to kc for 8 years plus. It is still at the old house if anyone is interested, I think its up for sale.
