It is Friday, Dec. 28th. I am at the public library making my posts. I’m happy that I still remember my pin to log on. I met out with a friend for breakfast, and later this evening I’ll be at a housewarming party. I still need to get a wedding present as well for this couple. Somehow I can get one gift that counts as two for them. And then, Sat. at noon, Porter Park in Prarie Village, the flag football game. My back is very stiff, sleeping on a couch, the run, and just my bodies overall lack of ability to function like it used to still won’t deter me. I’m impressed with the turnout this year. Close to 20 guys. We’ve never had more than 14. So my time in KC is winding down. My brother Anthony and I now have a plan, a great plan. We are headed to Miami for the Orange Bowl. He put in some time on the internet, and did all of the leg work. So we leave the 2nd, get back the 4th, and I leave the 5th. I apologize to anyone if I haven’t gotten ahold of you, or if I haven’t seen you, or won’t be able to see you. Feel free to call anytime and we can work something out. I have several more lunches/dinners to go before I leave. I am really enjoying being back in town, even if it is 5 degrees outside every night. This trip will hopefully refresh me for the long haul in Portland during Jan-Feb, when the rain is at its worst. There is a chance I might go to snow creek Sun, which will be good since I need to practice before I hit the slopes in Oregon.
