  While I’m not entirely happy that the Hawks lost to KState, it is good for Big 12 hoops to have KSU move up now in the rankings. They won at home, held court. It was exciting to see them storm the court, not since 1983 have they won at home. The curse of Bramblage Colesium is over. Now, we look to Lawrence for the rematch, but still a lot of other games between now and then. The Jayhawks need to get tougher, they got bullied on this night.

To stick with the basketball theme, while having a late dinner on Tues. night at the Red Star in downtown Portland, within 5 minutes former Kansas Jayhawk star and current Cleveland Cavs player Drew Gooden rolled in. He hung out for an hour or so, and D. Gibson, their guard, and everyone’s hero Lebron James rolled in. Those two only stayed for about 2-3 minutes, but all of them were within  a few feet of us. We think, not being 100% sure, that Lebron farted and then left after they all laughed. We for sure heard a fart from their group, and then someone said,”Man, why’d you do that? That’s nasty.” They all laughed again, and Lebron said, “All right, I’m out”. We laughed too. Clearly it worked, as he managed to torch our Blazers in the 4th quarter to make a huge comeback, and make the final layup for the win.
