Now that the weather is getting better each week (out here at least) I’ve been spending a lot more time outside. I feel that I have spent SO much more time outside of my place than I ever have in past years. NOw that the sun is out more often, that time outside will only increase. I am glad that I got rid of the tv (which I never really had, I just ordered it). Why do I need it? I moved out here to try something different, to live in the city. If I had a tv, I would just spend hours inside, not really taking in the experience. I still relax inside, don’t get me wrong. It’s necessary to do so. But at the same time, I try to hang out as much as possible(and reasonable), be it with others, or just by myself. It is nice to walk around downtown, go to a bookstore, athletic apparel store, or just walk around. It’s easy to spend hours downtown without spending a dime.
Well, everyone have a great week. I hope that you too are able to enjoy some decent weather, and some time with friends and family. This is the time for most of us in Kansas to wind down a school year, and begin the summer in about 2 weeks(or even less). I hope that all goes well as you wrap up another year. I certainly have missed being a part of that. I am thankful that there are still many in KC (and elsewhere in the US, and even abroad) that keep in touch, and that have allowed me to be a part of their past 9 months or so.
