Well, it seems that I am still on schedule to be back in town Aug 16-24, for anyone who is interested. I assume that total might reach about 4 at most. However, I am very interested and excited to be back.
I hope to be able to check out downtown kc this time around. I would, no, make that will, plan on eating bbq this time also. I couldn’t believe that I left kc without bbq in my system in Dec. It’s better to eat in the summer though, at least to me. Nothing like eating a hot plate of brisket and corn on the cob when its 100 degrees outside! Famous Dave’s, and Gates for me. I hope.
Looks like KU football has a nice early ranking. They do have 2 tough early games, not to mention the 4 big ones. If they can win 2 of those four, or even one, that will be decent. 3 out of those 4 is doeable, and would be tremendous.
I’m still downtown Portland, and really lovin’ it. The weather is still nice, its tough to say that we have maybe 2 months at best of “nice” weather. I saw the Dark Knight movie last night. Great flick, rather long, but I liked it.
