And now with the wave of thanksgiving momentum gone, we wait, and prepare to pounce on the holiday season in December. My thanksgiving was rather enjoyable, and my mom was in town. We had a group of about 15. The food was great, and the company even better.
Over the last month, I managed to play some nintendo Wii for only the second time. It was fun, some balance type of games. And how about them Kansas Jayhawks! Taking down Missouri in a great game. If you watched that game, how exciting was that? There were over, or almost 70,000 I heard that day. Great turnout.
As I said earlier, my mom and I did go to watch the Blazers versus the Heat. Portland was hot that night. A blow out. And what are the chances, but we sat next to a guy that lived in Lawrence for a few years. He struck up a conversation since we both had KU shirts on.
I am headed to the Oregon Ducks versus K-State hoops game on Sun. Should be a good game. I’m picking Kansas State, even with the long travel. Bill Snyder back in town for KSU football. Should be interesting.
I won’t be back in KC for the holidays. I’m sticking around Portland this year. I won’t be the BINGO caller on Christmas Eve. What will I do?
